Great learning function. Bought this to replace a slim credit card type remote for my Roberts music system. The credit card type remote is a complete nightmare to use and it often takes several attempts to get the button presses recognised.Unfortunately, there were no product codes available to get my new remote working directly with my music system so I had to use the learn function of the remote to transfer the old functions over. This actually proved very easy to do and within half an hour, I had most of the functions learned on the new remote, which incidentally works ten times better than the control it replaces. I can now sit relaxed, change radio channels with ease instead of fighting with a badly designed remote control.Might even set up the TV, freeview recorder and DVD next.

One For All – 4 in 1 – Genius I’ve got a relatively simple setup: tv, virgin box, and a hifi stereo amp, with cd player, alongside some aditional inputs such as an Xbox, Wii and media PC.For years I’ve put off getting a universal remote purely base on seeing my friends versions. Everyone of them have gone out and bought expensive complicated versions, such as those offered by Logitech. Lets be blunt: they’re hideous, hugely complicated, and impenetrable to anyone bar the person who spent an afternoon learning how to use them. This couldn’t be more different. Brilliantly simple, any visitor to my house can use it without instruction. Even if you’ve got a huge surround sound set up and seperate amp – you don’t need a more complicated remote than one of these One For Alls! How often do you need to change the delay phasing of the rear speakers? Just get the original remote out if you need to access one of these functions…surely? This thing is compatible with absolutely…

Brilliant – just what I needed This is a superb product; does what it says on the tin and does it well. The build quality is decent – better than my existing remotes. Buttons are nice and responsive and well laid out.Pros- Learning function is excellent; very programmable (good for making use of spare buttons/special functions)- Direct code setup worked impressively well- Great valueCons (picking nits here)- Batteries not included- Underside is glossy plastic; shame, matt finish would have been a nice touch.Tip: make sure you override the volume controls & AV/Input on your DVD/Sat modes to your TV functions (you can use a direct code to quickly map your buttons & then use the learning feature to override some of those mappings)
