hd300x vs hd33 This projector is extremely good value compared to the hd33 which is around £300 dearer for the same real world specifications.Although technically the hd33 has a slightly higher lumens value and contrast, you would NEVER see the difference without some technical light measuring equipment.I have seen both close up and can tell you that they perform EXACTLY the same way, but with the 300x you wont have a throbbing pain in your wallet.3d performance is quite simply outstanding, whilst watching “ocean wonderland 3d” I actually had to put my hand out to convince my brain that the coral really wasn’t 6 inches from my nose! It’s THAT good.Bonus is that it also works extremely well with Sky’s new 3d channel in side by side format, excellent depth and colour with no additional equipment (other than your sky+hd box).2D is also fantastic and has noticeably better blacks than my previous projector (an hd20).Quite frankly at this…

Excellent lower end priced projector Having enjoyed the Optoma HD600X alongside the 3D-XL for about a year, I felt the lack of 1080p meant that in the future I’d have to upgrade, so I took the plunge and opted for the HD300x.I primarily use projectors for PS3 and Xbox 360 gaming (including 3D) as well as streaming HD content from Xbox Live and the odd Blu-Ray movie. As far as differences are concerned the 300X is superior in almost every way. I used the DLP link ZD201 specs which work without any extra bits like emitters.3D.To make a comparison that’s easy to understand, the PS3 and Xbox 360 both output their games in 720p and there’s a noticeable drop in quality when playing in 3D. This is a limitation of the consoles not the projector. That said, compared to the HD600x, the 3D when using SBS modes is far superior and looks very crisp and clear whereas the 600X is like viewing through a fish tank – blurry but still acceptable. In terms of the 3D Blu Ray playback, the 1080p…

Outstanding 3D Projector – Full HD 3D image is spectacular WOWWhat a machine. As a long time projector owner of various models over the years, let me just tell you this projector has an utterly amazing 3D image, I mean this is an absolute corker at this price and produces an image you’d expect from a 3D projector a few times more expensive. It is *that* good.2D looks great as well, but 3D is where this projector excels, it will quite literally feel like you have a mini-IMAX in your house, better in some ways as this projector can add frames for 3D smoothness as well as do other on the fly image improvements. This projector uses active shutter glasses and they work flawlessly, and has the massive benefit over passive glasses of full HD 3D to each eye, the result is outstanding detail. I use the Optoma RF glasses and they are big and comfortable, no sync, ghosting or crosstalk issues due to the benefits of using DLP and RF technology.Throw Avatar, Tron, Tangled, Ulimate Wave Tahiti 3D etc in your…
