Superb picture quality I have both this PVR and the similar Humax Foxsat-HDR. Based on these Amazon reviews, the Humax seems to be more popular, but I think the Goodmans is much better.To me the picture quality is the most important feature, and the picture upscaler in the Goodmans is vastly superior to the Humax. The quality of the up-scaled SD channels is stunning and close to the quality of HD channels from a short distance away from the TV. The Humax is blockier and more pixelated, and doesnt handle movement nearly as well. I dont like to use the Humax any more as the picture quality is very noticeably worse.One downside to the Goodmans is that the fan can be quite noisy, especially after the box has been on for a while. When you put the box in standby mode the fan continues to spin for a couple of minutes to cool down the hard disk before it powers off.
